About Us
For over a century, Vennings has been a trusted name in Australian agriculture, proudly standing as the country’s longest family-owned and operated bulk grain handling retailer and manufacturer. Established in 1904 by Bill Venning as a blacksmith business, the company has grown through generations of innovation, evolving into a leader in bulk grain handling solutions while maintaining the same commitment to quality, reliability, and service.
Since shifting its focus to bulk grain handling in 1951 under Keith and Dudley Venning, Vennings has built a reputation for designing and manufacturing durable, practical equipment that meets the real needs of Australian farmers. From self-propelled grain augers and galvanised chaser bins to chassis bins, seed and super units, grain cleaners, and livestock feeders, every product is built with performance, efficiency, and longevity in mind.
Based in Kadina, South Australia, Vennings operates from its head office and manufacturing facility on Moonta Road, along with Venning Engineering on Martin Terrace, where a wide range of specialised grain handling equipment is produced. With over 4,000 self-propelled augers manufactured since 1994 and products sold across every Australian state as well as exported internationally, Vennings continues to deliver trusted solutions on a local and global scale.
Today, under the leadership of Robert and Richard Venning and supported by the next generation of the family, Vennings combines over 100 years of industry experience with a forward-thinking approach to manufacturing and customer service. As a major employer in the Kadina region, the business remains committed to supporting local communities while helping Australian farmers move grain smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
